- مواليد مدينة تعز- اليمن.
- دكتوراه في الهندسة المعمارية، جامعة القاهرة، 2008م

-  ماجستير هندسة معمارية- جامعة صنعاء،2000م.

- مدرس مساعد في جامعة صنعاء - كلية الهندسة- قسم العمارة.

- تعد حالياً لرسالة الدكتوراة عن العولمة والعمارة.

- حائزة على جائزة سعاد الصباح .

- حائزة على الجائزة الثانية في الملتقى الأدبي الثاني لجامعة صنعاء.

- حائزة على جائزة رئيس الجمهورية للشباب في الإبداع القصصي لعام 2001م.

- عضوة لجنة مناهضة العنف ضد النساء.

- عضوة الملتقى الثقافي النسوي (لقى).

- عضوة نادي القصة اليمني (إلمقه).

- شاركت في العديد من المؤتمرات والندوات العلمية في اليمن وخارجه.

- لها العديد من الأبحاث المنشورة في مجال تخصصها.

- نشر نتاجها القصصي في العديد من الصحف والمجلات في اليمن وخارجه.

- صدرت لها ثلاثة مجموعات قصصية الأولى (زفرة ياسمين)، والثانية (دحرجات)، والثالثة (تقشر غيم)، وفي الطريق إلى المطابع مجموعة جديدة.

- متزوجة ولديها ثلاثة أطفال: (عمار)، (أسامة)، (طاهر).

Nadia Al-Kokabany

 BIOGRAPHY

- Born in Taiz - Yemen.

- A master ofarchitectural engineering – Sana’a University, 2000.

- AssistantProfessor in Sana’a University- the faculty of architectural engineering.

- She's currently preparing a PhD thesis on ”Architectureand globalization”, in Cairo University, Egypt.

- Received an award for Dr.Soad al-Sabah. - She came in second place and received an award from the second art conference in Sana'a University.                                         

   - She obtained the President of Yemen award for youth people, in the field of stories creativity, in 2001.

     -A member of the committee against the abuse of women.  

- Also a member of the Cultural Women Conference (LOQA).

- Member of the Yemeni story club (ALMAQA).

- She participated in a number of Science related meetings and lectures in Yemen and abroad.

- She has many published researches in her field.

- She published many stories in a number of newspapers and magazines in Yemen and overseas.

- She published three groups of stories: the first is Zafret Al-Yasmeen (The moan of the Jasmine), the second is Dahrgatt (Rollings), the third is Taqsher Gheem (Cloud shed). A new book is on the process to being published.

- Married with three children: Ammar - Osama - Taher.
